Nathan’s roots are firmly planted in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Growing up here locally in a community centered around the lake, he developed a deep connection to the outdoors and a keen appreciation for wildlife. Photography became his way of capturing the region’s natural beauty, and his passion for wildlife photography and the outdoors has taken him on many adventures, both near and far. Nathan also works in sales within the automotive industry, but his heart remains close to the lake, where he spent countless summers working in the boating industry and cultivating a deep love for the area.
Our paths crossed while working during the summer months on Geneva Lake, where a shared love for the lake and the community brought us together. As we grew together, so did our vision of creating a place that embodied both our backgrounds and passions—a welcoming, tranquil retreat where guests could feel connected to nature while enjoying the comforts of a home away from home.
In 2020, we took a big step forward and became the proud owners of Seven Oaks Bed & Breakfast. Since then, we’ve poured our hearts into making Seven Oaks a peaceful haven for visitors from near and far. Every detail of the B&B has been shaped by our love for the areas in which we were raised, and our desire to create a space that offers more than just a place to stay. Whether it’s providing personalized recommendations for exploring Lake Geneva or simply sharing a warm smile and a hot cup of coffee, we’re dedicated to making every guest’s experience memorable.
One of our most meaningful projects to date has been creating a pollinator prairie on the property next door. This prairie is our small way of giving back to the land and fostering a habitat that supports pollinators and local wildlife right in the City of Lake Geneva. The prairie has quickly become one of our favorite spots, and we hope it will continue to flourish as a haven for bees, butterflies, and countless other species. Our dream is that future generations will enjoy this space as a peaceful reminder of the importance of preserving the natural world around us.
As we look to the future, we’re excited about the journey ahead. We continue to improve Seven Oaks to offer our guests new experiences, inspired by our love of Lake Geneva and our commitment to creating a restful retreat that feels like a home.
